Please congratulate one team for their video production which won both county and state awards. Next it goes to the International Competition which is the highest level of award. The video is entitled, "The Fail of Hitting on a Girl."

Also one student's Crescent Moon Kennels website won at the county level and scored 92 out of 100 points at the state level.

Web Challenge 2010, Live and eLearn Competition

These students created a Jeopardy Game in PowerPoint to help students review for an Excel formulas test. Their PowerPoint won 2nd place in the Web Challenge 2010, Live and eLearn Competition for the most effective use of technology. They are one of eleven teams that qualified as a finalist out of a pool of 67 entries from high schools across Georgia.

Students were honored at an awards dinner and each student received an $840 scholarship and a plaque.

Students competed in the Scratch Game Design Competition hosted by Georgia Tech.

One team won best game.

One team won best original idea.

The received a GPS, digital camera, Ipod, and speakers as prizes.

This website supports the Campaign for Real Beauty. The Dove Self-Esteem Fund and this website invite you to play a role in supporting a wider definition of beauty. We believe in building self-esteem in young women.

The website supports the Gwinnett Children's Shelter. The Gwinnett Children’s Shelter supports children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned by their families. Currently, there are 12 boys and 14 girls living in the shelter and the shelter helps approximately 300-500 children and their families every year. The Shelter is also the first metropolitan Atlanta agency to sponsor the national Safe Place Program providing safety for runaway and homeless children.

This website supports Keep Georgia Safe. Keep Georgia Safe educates families and children on how to stay safe in a variety of situations by providing safety education and crime prevention training because 60,000 child are abducted every year by non-family members. Recently, Keep Georgia Safe conducted a summer camp with the help of radKIDS. The camp included topics like bullying prevention, Internet safety, bike safety, calling 911, and predator tricks – including physical resistance strategies against abduction. KGS offers training for Child Abduction Recovery Teams and they are the only organization to send out all three of Georgia’s emergency alerts – Levi’s Call (Georgia’s Amber Alert), Mattie’s Call (elderly or disabled missing person alert), and Kimberly’s Call (dangerous fugitive alert).
